why blogging..?

Actually it should be changed as "why blogging now?"


I have been an active blogger some time back. I used to write daily posts to this website for about a year. However with life getting busier, the writer within me died. I must say I am not a exquisite writer, I see myself as a hard core reviewer.


I think you got the impression that I am a "twitter-addict" just by looking at the title. As a person who got the hang of it lately I must say I tweet a LOT! I guess I fell more into it because of the ease of sharing thoughts.


So back to the question. Yes, at twitter there are restrictions, and I think it is good that there is a character limit. But there are times 140 characters just won't do. After numerous trials at Wordpress, Blogger and Tumblr, today I thought of starting this.


With time, the points in my brain which takes more than 140 characters to express has increased. There is a lot to share, and this would be my platform for it. I hope the ride would be great.


Here I would use English or සිංහල or both, the mood will decide that. I believe language play a major part in transferring whats in the blogger's brain to the reader.


And I have kept a mental note not to make this a personal diary. lets see.. :)
